SPRING I: C U B A
Storytime takes us to Cuba, where we will hear heart heartwarming tales of rainy adventures that include everything from floating "barquitos de papel" (little paper boats) to releasing palomas (pigeons) in the evenings.
The musical rhythms of Cuba are heard throughout the session, even in the raindrops--plic plic ploc, plic ploc. We won't be surprised if the kids pick up the infectious "son clave" (rhythmic pattern of Afro-Cuban music). Shapes, rainy day themes, and syllable pronunciation are emphasized in this session.
SPRING II: MEXICO I
Pack your imagination, ¡nos vamos a México!
In this joyful Storytime session, children will travel to Mexico City and visit the famous Chapultepec Zoo, where Spanish comes alive through music, movement, and play.
Little ones will stomp like elephants, stretch like giraffes, roar like lions, and move their bodies as they learn Spanish in a natural and playful way.
During the first three weeks, children will explore zoo animals through songs, stories, and interactive games designed to keep them engaged, moving, and smiling—no sitting still here!
The fun continues in the second half of the session as we turn Storytime into a big birthday celebration.
Together, we’ll sing “Un pastel muy especial” while “baking” a pretend cake using shapes (square, triangle, circle, star), searching for colors, decorating for the party, dancing the Joqui Poqui (Hokey Pokey) and yes, we'll break a piñata!
This session is full of laughter, learning, and connection—perfect for children who love to move, sing, and imagine. Spanish is learned the Bamboleo way: through play, joy, and meaningful experiences.
Our language programs are offered in various locations throughout southern California by independent proprietors that are trained and licensed to teach Spanish Immersion Networking Group programs.
